Restoration

On Monday morning of October 19, 2009, my husband woke up very early feeling in good health and a few hours later, he experienced a little dizziness while in the bathroom of our home. He took a deep breath and without warning he experienced a blackout and fell to the floor hitting his forehead on the bathroom sink. I drove him and my children to the Emergency Room where he was admitted and spent four days in the hospital. By the grace of God, he was discharged without any serious diagnosis. Several tests were done with negative results. However, my husband's doctor found slight thickening in the arteries of my husband's neck which his doctor prescribed medicine to help the issue. With prayer, a change of lifestyle (Proper diet and exercise), and F/U with medical care, my husband will be okay! I thank God for bringing my husband home and I thank those who prayed for my husband's recovery. Romans 8:28 (NIV) "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

K'Deion Shares Her Testimony

Romans 8:1-2 (NIV) "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."

1 John 1:9 (NIV) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

It was at an altar call that I gave my life to the Lord, Jesus Christ. I confessed my sins to God and I believed in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for me and for the world.

Moreover, I believe that God raised Christ from the dead on the third day and is now living. You ask me how I know? Well, he lives through me and through everyone that believes in his name. God gives you the opportunity to accept his son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Romans 3:23 (NIV) "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,..." John 14:6 (NIV) "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me."

Will you give your life to Jesus Christ now? If not, you give Satan permission to have your life. Satan's final destination is hell!

Be wise and choose Jesus Christ.
Romans 14: 11-12 (NIV) "It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God."

You have nothing to lose my friend. Those who want to give their life to the Lord, Jesus Christ pray this prayer, "Lord, Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I confess to you with my mouth that I want you to be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cleanse me of all my sins with the blood of Jesus Christ. Take my life and give me your life. Live through me and because of your death and resurrection, I know in my heart that I am forgiven. In Jesus Christ name.

Amen.

Joel 2:32 (NIV) "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved;..."

Family Time

Spending time with your family is very important. During that time, I encourage you to have bible study with your family and also set aside a time for prayer. When spending time with my family, I sometimes like to watch with them the complete presentation of the video, Mathew. Mathew is a great movie told entirely from the bible in the form of the New International Version, presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. Both my five year old and two year old also love to watch the VeggieTales series and Boz. You can do so many things with your family, but always remember to include God in everything you do. In July 2009, my family and I took a trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and visited the Sight and Sound Theatre. There we saw "In The Beginning", a story about Adam and Eve. We also visited Hershey, but of course the show was the highlight of our trip. It was nice to see everything visualized and dramatized in scripture form.

Here are three websites that you can visit to find these videos. You can also go to your local christian book store (Ex. Morning Star) to find them.

Encouragement

Be confident and know that you are not forgotten. Jesus Christ knows who you are and he loves you very much. Be encouraged for the word of God says in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
May all of you meditate on this word and receive it into your hearts in Jesus Christ name.
